After being invited to participate in the Summit France, on Monday 11 July, at the Château de Versailles, the Vorwerk Group took the opportunity to announce its new industrial project: the opening of its second production site in Châteaudun, a few kilometers from the first of which the plant was installed in Cloyes-les-Trois – Rivières where it has been established for more than 50 years. At this site, there are no other places to extend the existing site sandwiched between the county and the river.
Creation of 74 job opportunities in the sand dunes area
The German giant has therefore chosen to strengthen its presence in Eure-et-Loir by opening a second production site in the greater Châteaudun region, in the La Bruyère business park in Donnemain-Saint-Mamès. This industrial investment, estimated at 57 million euros, will include a major social component with the creation of 74 jobs.
